Europe Coach Holiday Guide 2018-2019

Door2Tour provides Coach Holidays to some of the most desirable locations across Europe so be sure to check out the rest of the site or use the Search bar to find some of the great places we have to offer.

Before you book a trip to Spain there are a few things to consider:

With nearly 19 million British Nationals visiting Europe each year it is quite the tourist attraction and very accommodating to British tourists visiting the country. Some areas of Europe can become very busy so bear this in mind when booking your holiday and the time of year you go will dictate the level of tourism.

Gatherings & Political Demonstrations:

There have been gatherings of large numbers of people in Barcelona, and other areas of Catalonia relating to political developments and further gatherings and demonstrations are likely to occur.

This may happen without warning, while the demonstrations are meant to be peaceful, travellers should be wary in case these turn to confrontation. We always advise you exercise caution if staying in or travel in close vicinity to these demonstrations and always plan your journeys in advance to not get caught up in temporary disruptions.

Extended Summer Months & Natural Disasters:

Further to this as some months during extended summer months can get very hot, ensure you keep well hydrated and pay close attention to any outbreaks of fires or heat waves.

Insurance:

Make sure you have comprehensive travel insurance where ever you go in Europe, not all medical claims are covered under the available cheaper plans. This will help in minimising any upset while away in Europe.

Brexit:

Currently, British citizens can travel anywhere within Europe with their current passports as long as you have your travel documents with you. Once Brexit comes into effect, British citizens will become third country nationals with no automatic right of admission.

While this is yet to be confirmed bear this in mind before booking your Coach Holiday to Europe for future breaks next year 2019. This does mean that without correct travel documentation you could be turned away at passport control.

The Tour:

One of Europe’s top short-break destinations and one of our favourite locations, Amsterdam is a great break away with some very popular excursions, the city is youthful and a heavyweight in the would of art. There are so many great places to explore in this city with its narrow alleyways and water channels that you can explore by boat. Most locations are walkable, or you can jump on one of the trams or grab a taxi. Grab a map before you set out as it is easy to get lost!

After a long day exploring the city, we recommend taking time out to sip a coffee in one of the traditional, bare-floored brown cafés or one of the many designer bars or grand restaurants.
