Name: Caroline
Favourite Destinations: St Lucia is my all-time favourite it has stunning scenery, hot weather and white sandy beaches. I also love Prague as it has amazing architecture and great history. Finally Kenya is a favourite for the wildlife and stunning landscapes.
First Holiday Destination: My first holiday was to Greatstone in Kent, we went every year for the first 13 years of my life – we always stayed in the same great self-catering bungalow with a garden which went straight out onto the beach. My first holiday abroad was to Cana Plague in the South of France, we travelled there by sleeper coach and then we flew home which was my first time flying!
Next on the Bucket List: I would love to tour Australia for a month, I never got a chance to do a gap year so would love to do and see as much as I can.
Favourite destination in the UK: With so much on the doorstep it’s difficult to choose but I’d have to say California Beach in Norfolk. It’s a little known sand and shingle beach with a lovely pub at the top of cliff which is off the tourist trail.
Best travel tip: Make sure you take a solar power charger with you, it’s handy as you can charge your phone, camera and laptop whilst on the go.
Funniest travel story: During a hot air balloon trip over the Masai Mara in Kenya, when landing the basket tipped over and was dragged along the ground. Our tour guide had already organised that the men would be on the ground upon landing meaning that as the basket was dragged along they were getting covered in basket insects, savannah grasses and elephant dung!
Specialist tours/events: Disneyland Paris, Battlefield Tours and Christmas Markets
Favourite show in the West End: Rock of Ages even though it is not on anymore. I would love to see it return.
Favourite event: It has to be Wimbledon. I went for the first time this year and could not believe how relaxed the atmosphere was. Also everyone was polite which made it even nicer.
