British Grand Prix: Some Pointers

Thinking of attending an F1 race? D2T offers a number of British Grand Prix packages. But, before you head off to have an amazing time, you should be aware of certain things to make your trip even more fun.

The Silverstone track has been a part of the F1 race, right from the very beginning. Considering the area’s heritage, atmosphere and the track itself that truly unveils F1 cars’ power, the British Grand Prix is probably one of the best season of the entire tournament.

However, with every good thing, there are almost always some downsides attached. In this case, the tickets are costly, and are hard to get hands on. But you don’t have to worry about this, because D2T offers the best rates that you would ever come across. Tickets are already included in our British Grand Prix packages. The site is far from the country’s capital, but our tours are conducted using air conditioned coaches, so commuting isn’t a hassle.

Watching the races

  • Take a radio with you, and tune in to 87.7 FM so that you can listen to the commentary. Commentary is also aired by the BBC Live 7 team, accessible through 693 medium wave.
  • Entry for children accompanied by an adult is free for General Admission. So if you have a kid, you don’t have to pay extra for their ticket.
  • Take a folding chair with you if you have a General Admission Ticket.
  • Do stick around for the concert after the race – it is too much fun.

Entertaining yourself away from the track

When you aren’t watching the race, you can have some fun go-karting or watch a movie at the cinema. There are even Segways, a giant Scalectrix, zorbing and other fun games.
