Ascot Coach Packages: A Beginners’ Guide

Royal AscotAscot is among the most popular race courses in the entire country where some of the most exciting races in the world take place. People from across the globe come at the tracks to witness the excitement and the fun. And oh, the Royal family graces the event, so it is indeed, an auspicious occasion – definitely worth attending!

If you’re witnessing the races for the first time, then here is some advice for you.

On which days should you attend the event?

The Royal Ascot lasts for five days, usually beginning on Tuesday, and continuing till Saturday. The first day is a good day to absorb the excitement and gel in with the crowd. If you are interested in betting, Wednesday is popular with the gamblers; the day when the stakes are the highest, allowing you to win bigger amounts, and lose big as well if you are unlucky.  Thursday, the Ladies Day, is the day to dress up. Friday and Saturday are somewhat quieter, and usually for the younger and more energetic crowd.

How do you place a bet?

Several ways to do so. Some of you may prefer running from one bookie stand to another in a hunt for the best odds. But mobile betting is a lot easier; plus, it gives you plenty of time for socializing and drinking as well.

As for the strategy, that is totally dependent upon the circumstances. Good luck!

Where should you watch the races from?

You can watch the races from many points; our favourites are the finishing line and the Royal Enclosure. The latter is exclusive, which does mean higher priced tickets, but nonetheless, it’s where you get the best views from.
