Hi, my name is Rachel and I’d like to welcome you to our brand new and (we think) aptly named blog Tours, Tales and Trails. Working in the travel industry, we’re very privileged to get to visit and learn about many exciting destinations across the globe and it’s here that we’re hoping to share our thoughts, ideas and experiences with you!
We’ll be blogging on a smorgasbord of all things touring holiday related, including chewing over the latest industry news, sharing destination and show reviews, revealing our very best deals, what to do in our favourite holiday haunts, and whatever else we think you may find interesting. There’ll also be guest blogs and appearances from other members of the Door2Tour team, industry bods and – who knows – even the odd celeb. Think of it as a melting pot of all things touring, with a sprinkle of light entertainment and humour thrown in. Or, if you’re nosey, a spot of net curtain twitching into our world.
But this is by no means a one-way conversation – in fact, we’re hoping that you’ll contribute with your thoughts and ideas too. If you’ve been on holiday to somewhere amazing, enjoyed a great day out, or simply fancy challenging us to find you a tour, then we’d love to hear from you. Of course, Door2Tour is mainly about coach holidays but we’ll also be covering our fair share of cruise holidays and air tours too.
