Brilliant value Belgian Grand Prix Packages

Belgian Grand PrixOne of the biggest highlights in the F1 calendar is the Belgian Grand Prix at the world famous Spa-Francorchamps track. The track is known for being highly technical to drive with sharp turns and straight lines and the world famous Eau Rouge corner. It’s also famed for having its own micro-climate – spectators can never bet on the weather!

The track was designed in the early 1920s, it was a triangular shape between the town of Francorchamps, Stavelot and Malmedy. The route takes on the stunning scenery of the Belgian Ardennes. The track was known for being fearsomely fast and dangerous, it was an original fixture on the F1 calendar in 1950 but after two fatal crashes in a single weekend in 1960, doubt began to arise about the circuit’s safety. By 1970 the circuit was removed from the formula 1 calendar and the race was moved to Zolder and Nivells. In 1983 the track was shortened and restored with many famous and dangerous parts of the track having been removed. The Belgian Grand Prix has been held at Spa ever since and is now seen as one of the ultimate favourites in the racing calendar.
