Chelsea Flower ShowGetting around in a city like London is a headache as it is, but what about if you want to make it to the Chelsea Flower Show venue which is slated to be held for four days, from the 24th to the 28th of May, 2016. While everybody knows the venue for the event, which is the famous Royal Hospital in Chelsea, here we are going to take a look at all available transport options for those who are new to the area.

Public Transport

You can turn left down Lower Sloane Street and walk until you come to the junction at Lower Sloane Street and Royal Hospital Road. To reach the Chelsea Flower Show venue you will then need to turn right towards Royal Hospital road.

For those who like to go green, literally, cycle ranks are going to be made available at Burton’s Court right opposite the London Gate entrance so you can get your cycles from there.

Parking

Parking is always a nightmare, but fortunately for you, that is not the case for those who visit the Chelsea Flower Show each year. Public parking is available at Battersea Park, which is located outside the transport for London congestion zone on a first-come, first-served basis. You should take note that it is a good 20-minute walk from the venue, so come prepared. There is also a ‘park & ride’ service available at a cost which is included in the parking charges. Parking can also be pre-booked online as well so don’t forget to make the necessary arrangements before you make your trip to Chelsea on the 24th of May 2016.
