History
The show was organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) for the first time in 1912. The show was previously known as the Great Spring Show, and was held at the Kensington Garden in 1862. It was moved to the Temple Gardens in 1888, and finally to its current location, which is the Royal Hospital in 1912. The current location is very spacious as it covers an area of 11 acres and accommodates almost 157,000 people every year.

There are around 600 exhibitors in the show that consists of 21 small gardens and 15 large shows. The show has launched 600 new plants in the last decade and is famous all over the world, as according to BBC, the broadcast of the show was seen by 2.2 million viewers last year.
