History

The show was organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) for the first time in 1912. The show was previously known as the Great Spring Show, and was held at the Kensington Garden in 1862. It was moved to the Temple Gardens in 1888, and finally to its current location, which is the Royal Hospital in 1912.
