Best travel tip: Live as a local would.

Funniest travel story: Driving through the mountains in southern Turkey we saw a sign post for a town with a funny name (I do forget what!) so we decided to drive there. We had an open top Jeep and was hit by a rainstorm. Driving round a mountain curve we skidded, a span like a turning top; to the left death to the right ditch. Life span its bottle and we remained in the middle of the road! To this day I vividly remember as we span me looking over to my friend, he was trying to light his cigarette as we span! We decided to return back to base and that evening as we celebrated life the local news reported the town we were headed for has been destroyed that day by a landslide!

Specialist tours/events: Have you seen the photos of The Sea of Poppies at the Tower of London. Wouldn’t that be magnificent to see in real.

Favourite show in the West End:  Les Miserables. Red the blood of angry men, Black the dark of ages past.

Favourite event: Wimbledon. The ambiance is electric. Strawberries and cream, the hustle and bustle, Murray’s mount, the practise courts, game set and match.
