If you are a Potterhead, you know that there are several Harry Potter filming locations all over the UK. If you are planning to go on a Harry Potter Studios Coach Trip, you might want to learn about all these places. Let’s have a look at them:
Australia House
This was used for the filming of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for the Gringotts shot. The building is not open to the public but you can still view it from the outside.
King’s Cross Station
The King’s Cross Station has made its appearance in all the movies where the students board on the Hogwarts Express via Platform 9 ¾. Make sure that you visit the place as you will get the chance to get your picture taken with a Gryffindor scarf and buy the merchandise from the Harry Potter shop that is located right next to it.
Millennium Bridge
The place can be seen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the scene where the Footbridge collapsed.
Leadenhall Market
The Leadenhall Market can be seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, as it was used to show the Leaky Cauldron and the exterior of the Diagon Alley. Make sure that you visit the beautiful Victoria market when you are there.
Reptile House, London Zoo
The London Zoo can be seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone during the scene when Harry talks to the Boa Constrictor and sets it free.
Durham Cathedral
The Castle can be seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter the Chamber of Secrets, and Harry Potter the Prisoner of Azkaban. The Castle was used to shoot some of the exterior shots of Hogwarts. The place offers guided tours that you surely don’t want to miss out on.
