Four-Star Olympia – The London International Horse Show
Be at the best loved show jumping event in the UK, the London International Horse Show at Olympia. Enjoy free time to wander the magnificent Christmas Shopping Village with over 250 shops and stalls offering a large variety of equestrian goods to gifts, jewellery and clothing. It’s the perfect place to tie in a sport of Christmas shopping. After take your seat for a wonderful evening of entertainment and competition including show jumping. Carols by Candlelight at the Royal Albert Hall
Enjoy a marvellous evening of music and readings in a candlelit Royal Albert Hall. With a selection of performers and musicians in traditional 18th century costume and classical musical highlights including performances of Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ extracts from ‘Messiah’ plus Christmas carols for all in attendance – it promises to be a fantastic evening.
Following an enjoyable evening at the Royal Albert Hall, there is free time to indulge in some last minute Christmas shopping on Day 2. Visit Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and the High Street in Kensington to bag yourself a bargain. Alternatively stay on the coach and enjoy a short sightseeing tour of the Capital.
The Nutcracker on Ice
A few days after Christmas but the Nutcracker on Ice is coming to the Royal Albert Hall between Christmas and New Year. See the award-winning Imperial Ice Stars as they perform on 4,000 feet of ice in a spectacular adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s much loved ballet. The show based around the story of Marie, whose Nutcracker doll comes to life on Christmas Eve and introduces her to an enchanting world with famous characters including the Sugar Plum Fairy and Mouse King. Along with tickets to the Nutcracker, travellers will also enjoy the chance to see some of the best-loved sights of London including the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. There will be free time to do a spot of sale shopping and sightseeing too.
John Rutter’s Christmas Celebration Royal Celebration
Christmas time would not be complete without the music of John Rutter, join him as he joins together the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the voices of special guest choirs. The evening will consist of a selection of Christmas Carols, orchestral works and choral pieces. Travellers will also have the chance to experience Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland to immerse themselves in Christmas spirit.
