F1 Holidays: The Most Popular Tracks

British Grand PrixAre you planning F1 holidays? Which circuits are the best of all? The year 2017 will see the most exciting race kick off at 20 different places, scheduled across the year.  Though every circuit has a speciality of its own and is worth visiting, here are some of the most popular ones.

Spa Francorchamps – the Belgian Grand Prix

This is one of the most exiting venues on the F1 calendar, set amidst a beautiful forest backdrop. Some 40 years ago, it was among the most difficult tracks; it still is but challenges were somewhat reduced when the track was redeveloped 10 years ago. Nonetheless, F1 drivers still feel tingles as they race uphill through Eau Rouge kink and other parts of the track.

And oh, by the way, rain is quite common here, which makes the race all the more exciting, not to mention tough.

Circuit de Monaco – Monaco Grand Prix

Regarded as the jewel in F1’s crown, the track at Monaco is where fans gather to see cars run down narrow streets. They say that if this track was made today, it wouldn’t even be approved, but that just adds to the excitement.  After all, even a small incident tends to change the pace of the race as cars dodge past each other in enclosed spaces.

Silverstone – British Grand Prix

One track that hardly needs any description for all F1 fans – it’s been with the F1 tournament since beginning — offering one of the most exciting races of the season.

Suzuka – Japanese Grand Prix

Suzuka is a track liked by both drivers and fans. Designed in the shape of an ‘8’, this track has sure witnessed some nerve racking battles.
