Bournemouth is one of the most popular resorts in the UK, primarily because of its summer sun and sandy beaches. Chalky cliffs, beaches that stretch across miles and some of the best clubs, Bournemouth is a great place to go, particularly if you are looking around for a quick getaway for the weekend.
So what are the topmost attractions in Bournemouth? Here are some that we never miss out!
The coastal park
It is the only coastal park in the country, adjacent to the Boscombe Pier that offers so many activities. Climb the rocks, master bouldering, learn surfing or explore the beach in a kayak. And oh, swimming, beach volley, swing ball and table tennis are on the list as well.
If you plan to vista in summers, do book a beach hut so that you can make the most of the trip.
The shine of the chines
There are four chines in Bournemouth, each of them a little different from the others. Boscombe Chine Gardens are home to squirrels that play in nine different trees. You can even enjoy mini golf here. Alum Chine has an exotic collection of pretty flowers and the Treasure Island, an exciting haven for all the kids. Play pirates or splash in the paddling pool.
The gardens
Stretching for over 3 km from the Poole Pier, the Victorian Gardens are lush green, picture perfect spots. Ride up to 150 feet in the air to enjoy a stunning view from the Bournemouth Balloon, or stay on the ground and enjoy the wildlife, plants and the music show.
The pubs and bars
The Wight Bear and the Goat and Tricycle are where we head out the most when in town.
