Ascot Ladies Day 2018: General Advice for the Trip

Royal AscotSo you are planning coach holidays to the Royal Ascot competition? Great idea! The races are all set to take place from Tuesday, June 19 to Saturday, June 23 next year. How should you plan the trip? Avail a pre-arranged package offered by Door2Tour that covers Ascot Ladies Day 2018 as well as the races. Accommodation and sightseeing are usually included.

For whatever reason that you may want to experience the thrill and atmosphere at Ascot, the horses, the hats, the glamour, it will be like none other.  But do take note of our advice for a more enjoyable trip.

The Tickets

Get your tickets beforehand, which obviously would be the case if you book a tour with us.

The Attire

Decide your attire carefully and make sure that you flow the dress code set for your enclosure. Ladies – please don’t show off your midriff or wear any fascinator if you are in the Royal Enclosure. And gents, you should don a suit and the tie. Some enclosures also have a restriction on colour so do check this out.

The Picnic

This is how you should start the day- yes, really. Have a grand breakfast in the elegant grounds; you’ll find plenty of delicious eating options at the site, and later on, you can have lunch at one of the dining spots, followed by tea.

The Bet

Do you bet on horse racing or any other sports? Well, try it now, but don’t go overboard.

The Parade Ring

If you are betting, you should definitely check out the horses closely before you place a bet. And this you do at the Parade ring where you’ll find all of them.
