A Quick Guide to Organising your Next Group Trip

IrelandOften being a group travel organiser sounds like a lot of stress and hassle with important considerations to make, and for those who aren’t seasoned in group organisers it can be a daunting process when considering where to even begin. With endless questions including being fired from group members and friends/family including where’s the best price? How much are the deposits? Where are we staying? And more it can all become a little more like a military operation!

No fear! Here at Door2Tour.com we are ready to help with extensive knowledge about how to organise a group trip, we can make the hardest of tasks as simple and easy as possible. We even go the extra mile by assisting you with marketing and even collecting deposits in some cases.

With contacts throughout the tourism industry we can look at tailor making unique tours for groups with a minimum of 22 passengers roughly. Or if there is a smaller group we can add your group onto an existing tour which often lowers the cost and allows you to mingle with an eclectic group of people.

A group trip can be anything from a day out at Wimbledon, to an overnight break to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot, to a mini-break to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and even a full week break exploring the Emerald Isle. The choice really is yours (and your groups of course!!)

What’s all this talk of free places? Free places are often given on group bookings which have a certain number of passengers travelling. This means you can divide the cost of a passenger between the whole group or treat the group organiser as a thank you for their hard work. We also work with a number of stag and hen parties – so why not give the betrothed traveller a free day out instead?

At Door2Tour we strive to provide a fast turnaround time to get quotes over to you as quickly and accurately as possible, allowing you to relay all required information to your group whenever your next meeting may be. We can also provide leaflets and fliers to allow you to market to your tour and hopefully fill all those seats on the coach/plane – however you travel.

Edinburgh TattooWith regards to deposits, often depending on the tour type they can be quite small and from as little as £15 per person. These can be paid on one lump sum by the organiser or in some cases we can take individual payments.

In most cases the remaining tour balance is not generally required until around 8 weeks prior to your tour, meaning you have plenty of time to collect the remaining amounts in. But, if your group are extremely organised there is nothing stopping you paying off the whole balance early.

As you can see organising a group trip through Door2Tour can be really easy, all you need to do is sit back and let us do the work for you.
