Ascot Coach Trips: Tips for First Timers

Royal AscotRoyal Ascot is one of the biggest racing events in the country and even the world as well. Have you ever been on Ascot coach trips before?  If this is your first time, then you should definitely follow our advice so that you can get through the day easily!  Trust us, it’ll be a lot of fun… and glamorous!

So here is how you can make the most of your Royal Ascot coach holidays.

 Keep your belongings with you

Even though attempts have been made to decrease the total number of attendees, the Royal Ascot is still a busy place, so don’t leave any of your belongings unattended. And definitely don’t put out your cash on display. You really should be careful because of the so many people around.

Wear comfortable shoes

This point is mostly for the ladies, but men should take note too.  You’ll be on your feet for a large part of the day so wear something comfortable. Yes, you do want to show off those elegant stilettos, but in that case, do pack an extra pair that you can put on when you can no longer bear the high heels.

Avoid drinking to the extreme

Drink, but don’t drink too much, or you would actually ruin your otherwise perfect day.

Keep an umbrella

June is a rainy season, and you should have cover for when the clouds decide to burst.  Keep an umbrella with you; it may come in handy.

Wrap up

Because the sun may not always be out, so pack a warm coat as well.
