Belgian Grand Prix Packages: Some Pointers

British Grand PrixThe Belgian Grand Prix circuit, formally known as the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, is one of the most majestic of all tracks that weaves through the beautiful Ardennes Forest. Away from the city, it is a favourite of both the drivers and fans.

At the Circuit

  • Keep a sanitiser and warm clothes with you; Spa can get cold at times. Also, have some water proof clothes to save yourself from the rain.
  • Wear good and comfortable walking shoes, suitable for the grassy and hilly terrain.
  • Keep some lose change with you. While you can use some of the toilets for free, you have to spend about 70 cents or a penny for the others.
  • Keep plenty of snacks and drinks with you when you go to the circuit; avoid buying eatables from there because they can be too expensive. Instead, buy food items from nearby villages of Francorchamps and Malmedy. Do try out of the waffles; they are just yummy.

Nearby Attractions

There is more to Belgium than the race itself. Yes, indeed the excitement of watching F1 cars while getting drenched in rain is way too much, but other areas are worth visiting as well. After all, Belgium is known for so much: diamonds, chocolates and a rich history.

  • Visit the Autoworld Museum at Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels. The museum has staggering displays of around a 1000 vehicles, including some of the finest in the world. Plus, it tells a great history right from those steam engine powered cars to today’s modern models.
  • Check out Thermes of spa, which offers peat baths, water games and even beauty treatments.
