Santa’ Journey takes place amidst the magical surroundings of Thursford Christmas Show. The magical trip begins with polar bears and penguins, and then goes on towards giant teddy bears which pull Santa’s sleigh. Your kids would also get to see elves, busy at the toy factory, creating presents and then wrapping them up in colourful packages. Several other fantasy characters also welcome you and the children. Do watch out for the snowman family, as well as the snowballs that are aimed right at you! You then traverse through the forest until you are at Santa’s house, where he greets all the kids and showers them with gifts of all kinds.
The Thursford Christmas Show has been scheduled for December 23, 2017 this year. Santa’s Magical Journey is an essential part of the event, but opens for the general public begore the main show itself. This year the event will be held on Nov 25 – 26, Dec 02 – 03, Dec 09 – 10, and Dec 16 – 23. Though entrance tickets for this have to be bought separately, it is worth attending. All tickets should be booked beforehand; they are on not-sold on the day of the event. The journey takes place every 15 minutes; be punctual, because late arrivals are not entertained.
