The gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show are the highlight of the whole event. What to Expect?
The show is one of the most awaited events of the year and hundreds of people visit it every year to check out the floral arrangements and the gardens. There are three main categories of gardens at the show, which are:
Show Garden
Show gardens are the highlight of the whole event and receive a lot of media coverage as the designs have different themes that portray the latest horticulture trends and unique designs. The size of these gardens varies but it is usually 10m x 10m.
Fresh Garden
The fresh garden category is all about new ideas and innovative design patterns. Generally, the designs incorporate latest trends and technology and amalgamate that with nature. The size of the garden varies but it is usually 3m x 3m units.
Artisan Garden
These gardens are all about imagination and the designers take modern as well as traditional approaches, which is quite apparent in the designs. The size is generally 5m x 4m or 7m x 5m.
