Top three Events in London in 2016

Notting Hill Carnival

August 31

Europe’s grandest street party will fill the streets of west London on August 31 which is a bank holiday. Since the carnival began in the 60s, it has grown in size and is attracting more revelers each year. You can be sure to see the main parade of floats which features Calypso, mas and pan bands along with many others. The carnival also features more than 40 soundsystems for alfresco dancing and plenty to eat making it one of the most sought after annual concert events of London.

Georgia O’Keeffe

July 6 – October 30

For the art lovers flower, landscape and feminist artist Georgia O’Keefe is known as one of the most popular and accessible artists in the world. Her work is also one of the most widely reproduced of any artist of the 20th century which is quite an achievement. The exhibition will be showcased at Tate Modern which is a modern-art gallery. Some of her famous works will include the haunting painting of New Mexico, famous flowers and skulls.

Ragnar Kjartansson

July 14 – September 4

If you missed out on what critics call one of the standout shows of 2015, then you will be able to experience it once again at the Barbican’s Summer Exhibition which has been dedicated to the Icelandic artist. Known for delivering a unique experience no matter where Kjartansson performs, this multi talented performer is not going to disappoint.
