So if you’ve never thought of giving the gift of coach travel before, check out the fabulous coach breaks we’ve chosen especially for you below and perhaps put a smile on your loved one’s face this festive time!
Gardens & Flower Shows
Do you know of someone who takes pride in the appearance of their garden? If so, coach tours to Gardens and Flower Shows will be a perfect gift for them this year and with so many to choose from, you’ll really be spoilt for choice. Old favourites such as Chelsea, Hampton Court and Harrogate Flower Shows always feature high on every gardener’s list of ‘Must-visits’ but perhaps for Christmas this year book them on a trip to visit the National Arboretum at Westonbirt, the Southport Flower Show and Spalding Flower Parades and not forgetting to cross the Channel to experience Floriade 2012 or to see the magnificent Carpet Of Flowers in Brussels. You’ll have to agree that there’s plenty to suit any green-fingered enthusiast out there!
London Theatre Breaks
If you really are struggling for gift ideas this Christmas, perhaps treat that special someone or the whole family to London theatre breaks? Not only can you catch a top West End show but you get to stay in luxurious accommodation with plenty of free time to sightsee and shop before heading back home. London’s West End is completely buzzing with an abundance of hot new shows treading the boards from GHOST The Musical to Singin’ In The Rain, Backbeat and Matilda The Musical that again you will be spoilt for choice. Don’t forget the classics too such as Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables, The Lion King, Wicked and so much more – London theatre breaks will certainly put a smile on anyone’s face this Christmas!
Grand Prix Tours
Do you know of someone that loves the adrenalin-fuelled drama of the Grand Prix? If so, perhaps you could consider sending them on a Grand Prix coach tour to witness the highs and lows of the motor racing calendar. Top of the list for any F1 fan has to be Silverstone’s British Grand Prix where race-goers get the chance to see the qualifying stages as well as the actual race itself and see the Top 3 on the podium once they reach the all-important chequered flag. Have they already been to Silverstone and have they been good boys and girls this year? If so, perhaps go that one step further and treat them to a coach package to other races featured in the F1 calendar to include: Le Mans, Monaco, Spa-Francorchamps or even Abu Dhabi – depending on how much you want to spoil them this Christmas!
Sporting Events
Think it’s fair to say that many families out there have at least one or two people who love their sports and this is where coach packages come in handy as you’ll get to spoil them with a trip of a lifetime this Christmas. The sporting calendar will be jam-packed during 2012 especially with the Olympics and Paralympics taking place but there is probably a sporting event to suit anyone whatever their interests are so check out The Grand National, London Marathon, Ascot Ladies Day, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Britain’s national treasure – Wimbledon 2012! The only problem you’ll have is trying to decide on what sporting event they will enjoy the most.
Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour
The temperature is certainly rising for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing Live Final due to take place this weekend (17-18 Dec 2011) with Jason Donovan, Chelsee Healy and Harry Judd competing against one another in Blackpool. Have you enjoyed this year’s series on TV? Would you like to be there when the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour hits the road in 2012? Now’s the time to drop subtle hints to your loved ones and see whether they will buy you this fab coach package to see the event for yourself or if you’re feeling generous, perhaps spoil that loved one in your life whose been desperate to see the show since it began! No matter who goes, just promise that you’ll let us know what the show’s like when you return home – who knows we might go sometime too!
The X Factor Live Tour
We had the final at the weekend (10-11 Dec 2011) and now we know that Little Mix beat thousands upon thousands of hopefuls to be crowned X Factor Champions. Do you know of someone who loves The X Factor and is eager to be in the audience at this year’s Live Tour? If so, why not consider taking them to one of the many live shows across the UK when The X Factor Live Tour hits the road in 2012? See performances by Janet Devlin, Marcus Collins, Craig Colton, Amelia Lily, Misha B, The Risk, Johnny Robinson, Kitty Brucknell and overall winners, Little Mix before returning to your hotel for overnight stay with breakfast and the opportunity to shop or sightsee before heading home. This could quite simply be the gift that your loved one will cherish forever!
Gift Vouchers
If you really have absolutely no idea on what to get or for some reason you have that one person in your family or circle of friends that has just about everything a person could want or wish for, then your saviour could come in the shape of Gift Vouchers. You have to agree that these are simply a perfect gift idea for that person who has everything or if you’re unsure whether they will like the break that you have chosen for them. There’s no limit to the amount you can spend and the vouchers are usually valid for a year from the date of purchase so your friends/family will have plenty of time to find a coach trip that’s suitable.
Hopefully we’ve given you a few gift ideas to consider for loved ones this Christmas but you never know, there could be something we’ve forgotten to mention or is even better than what we’ve cherry-picked. If that’s the case, get in touch and let us know what we simply cannot live without this Christmas!
