Every enclosure has a slightly different dress code, and you’ll pick your attire accordingly. Here are some tips to help you out!

The Royal Enclosure

Ladies

Ladies should don formal daywear which can be defined as:

  • The skirts and dresses should be of appropriate length that reaches the knees or is longer.
  • The straps of all tops and dresses should be at least one inch in width.
  • Pashminas and jackets are allowed but the attire underneath should still meet the dress code.
  • Trousers are permissibleif their length is full, and the colours and material matches. Jumpsuits can also be worn if they are full length.
  • And lastly, do wear a hat.

Gentlemen

  • Wear either a grey or black dress that is complete with a waistcoat and tie.
  • Shoes must be black.
  • Hatshave tobeworn that are either grey or black colour. However, they can be removed at a private box or club, facility’s terrace or the restaurant. Hats are also not a necessity in any enclosed area.

The Village and Queen Ann Enclosures

Ladies

  • Formal dress is mandatory, but do take note of the following.
  • Wear a hat throughout.
  • Sheer strap and strapless tops and dresses are not allowed.
  • Trousers can be worn if they are paired with a formal blouse or top.
  • Crop tops and shorts are not permissible.

Gentlemen

  • Wear a suit with a tie. There are no restrictions on colour.
