Favourite Destination: My favourite destination has to be the USA, I’ve been lucky enough to travel there a number of times and have explored several cities. I particularly loved Chicago and can’t wait to return one day. My next trip will have to incorporate Las Vegas, LA and the Grand Canyon as I am yet to explore that part of the country.
First Holiday Destination: My earliest holiday I can remember was to Tenerife, I used to spend every minute swimming in the pool. My parents would literally have to force my sister and I out to eat and drink and they also sent us to the dreaded kids club so they could get some peace and quiet. It probably wasn’t even that bad, but as I think back it’s scarred in my memory.
Next on the Bucket List: There are far too many places on my Bucket List to count, but first I would love to explore Australia and New Zealand. I would love to visit Bondi Beach, climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge and explore the beautiful scenery of New Zealand.
Favourite destination in the UK: I’ve just returned from a mini break to St Austell in Cornwall, it was beautiful and I will definitely be returning to that corner of the country.
Best travel tip: Always take ample sun cream and after sun with you, it can be particularly pricey buying sun cream abroad, especially if you require a higher factor.
Funniest travel story: This is probably one of those ‘you had to be there moments’ but once on a ski holiday in Quebec, Canada, I accidently dropped my ski pole from an extremely high ski lift. With no chance of retrieving it I was forced to ski down with one pole for the rest of the day (which is slightly tricky!)
Favourite show in the West End: My favourite show in the West End has to be Wicked, you can’t beat the empowering storyline, fantastic songs and magic of exploring the lives of the witches of Oz.
Favourite event: I was lucky enough to travel to the British Grand Prix whilst filming one of our Door2Tour Miniguides. Knowing very little about the adrenaline fuelled Formula 1 calendar attending has converted me into an avid fan who tends to watch every weekend it’s on!
