London Theatre Shows: Reopening Dates Announced

As restrictions are gradually easing, news of London theatre shows reopening has made us all excited in the office! This year, 2021, there will be a return of the classical musicals as well as some brand-new shows making their London debut.

Back to the Future The Musical 

Take a ride back in time as the 1985 Michael J Fox blockbuster film, arrives in London’s West End as a brand-new musical adventure!  
Theatre: Adelphi Theatre 
Reopening date: 20 August 2021

Cinderella The Musical 

Cinderella is the much-anticipated new Andrew Lloyd Weber romantic musical comedy. A modern twist on a timeless classic, this is a show not to be missed! 
Theatre: Gillian Lynne Theatre 
Reopening date: 25 June 2021 

Come from Away 

This great musical is the winner of 4 Olivier Awards, including Best Sound Design and Best New Musical. It tells the real-life story of what happened when 7,000 people landed in Newfoundland during the aftermath of 9/11.

Frozen The Musical

Frozen the Musical will showcase the well-loved Disney story of Anna and Elsa that melted hearts across the world.

Get up Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical 

Filled with the iconic reggae songs, this musical tells the remarkable tale of Bob Marley’s musical and spiritual uprising.

Hairspray 

The smash hit musical Hairspray is back for a limited time, so make sure you don’t miss out. Based on the 1988 film, this show will have you dancing in your seat!

Hello, Dolly! 

Hello, Dolly! is due to return to the Adelphi Theatre in the West End in 2022.

Jersey Boys 

The Jersey Boys musical is the fabulous story about how ‘Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ came together and stormed the charts with their infectious blend of music creating hit after hit for the band

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 

This classic family musical has been performed in over 80 countries and follows the story of Joseph and the “coat of many colours” story.

Les Misérables 

Les Miserables Musical is without a doubt one of the most popular theatre shows of all time and one that continues to keep breaking box office records.

The Lion King 

This family friendly musical is described as ‘lighting up the West End with a blaze of fabulous imagination’

Mamma Mia! 

This wonderful feel-good show featuring all of the Abba classics, will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.

Mary Poppins the Musical

Phantom of the Opera 

Popular West End musical, the Phantom of the Opera, is a tragic tale of love that has been captivating audiences for over 30 years.

Pretty Woman: The Musical 

Based on the smash hit film, this musical opened in London’s West End on 14th February 2020 – following a successful run on Broadway.

The Book of Mormon 

The Book of Mormon is a nine-time Tony Award-winning musical from the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
